La Luz de Jesus 40
Part I, Opening Reception – October 2, 2026
I'm honored to be included in La Luz de Jesus 40, Billy Shire's milestone exhibition celebrating forty years of one of the world's most influential galleries for contemporary pop surrealism and lowbrow art. Bringing together an extraordinary roster of artists who have helped define the gallery's legacy, this landmark exhibition is both a celebration of its remarkable history and a look toward its future. I'm proud to have my work included in this special anniversary exhibition.
PAST SHOWS

The Huntington Beach Art Center is pleased to present Kustom Kulture II, a twenty year anniversary tribute to the original exhibition presented at the Laguna Art Museum in 1993. This was the first museum art exhibit to feature the car culture contribution of Von Dutch, Ed "Big Daddy Roth", Robert Williams and others. KKII is being curated by surf historian C.R. Stecyk, a conceptual artist whose work is in the Smithsonian, MOCA and Laguna Art Museum. He is also known for his work with Dog Town and the Z Boys. Co-curating is artist and designer Paul Frank, creator of Julius the Monkey and Park La Fun, a clothing and accessories brand based in Los Angeles, CA, along with Greg Escalante, co-founder of Juxtapoz magazine, and one of the organizers of the original exhibition of Kustom Kulture. Greg has been the catalyst behind the 20th Anniversary celebration. New works from Damian Fulton and many next generation artists will be presented along side the classic original masters.
